LAMP development

LAMP is the solution stack of free, open source softwares where acronym LAMP refers to the first letters of Linux (operating system), Apache HTTP Server, MySQL (database software) and PHP. So the LAMP development refers to the process of web development where these four tools are in use for achieving the target web application functionality.

Here each of the four softwares have their own standards and possibilities which are used to create different or all features required on website. Linux, being operating system, serves as base where other three softwares run to work there way. Apache is the web server which deploys the web pages to site visitors. MySQL database is used to store content of web pages in the form of data and information while PHP is the server side scripting language that is used to process content stored in database and present it as HTML code based on predefined or client sent specifications.

LAMP provides possibility to use various open source softwares making the web development a low cost process while achieving the main target of web application creation.
